Who says procrastination is per se unproductive? I discovered today that impossible-to-clean gunk on scissors can be removed with just a little nail polish remover. I had to think about it for a little bit, even.

Nail polish removers are usually made of organic solvents like ethylacetate or acetone, solvents I used on a daily basis. A little bit of hexane cuts the stuck on grease on my kitchen stove like magic. And why use window cleaners with low concentrations of ethanol or isopropanol, when you can use pure ethanol from lab where smudges and streaks are gone with one clean swipe. Just gotta be in a well ventilated area and away from flame sources. =)
