Back in law school. Possibly suffering effects of the dreaded Dry Socket. Keeping up with reading so far. Made tacos. Mmm.

I spent a lot of the day making smoothies and chocolate pudding after I got my wisdom teeth out this morning. No oozing, no bleeding, no pain. This is, so far, a greatly overhyped experience.

Alternately, anyone going to be in Vancouver from December 27-29? Mark & Co. (i.e. Simon) are looking for persons interested in the annual Whistler condo crash-a-thon. Good skiing and good bbq are promised, though the former depends on the rain god and the latter on Mark.

And Camp Goodtimes (also in Vancouver) is hosting a fundraiser at The Cellar tomorrow night from 8 - 10 PM, for those in town and interested in helping kids with terminal diseases have a semi-normal summer. And if you don't -- what's wrong with you?

The gravy train has now come, and gone. I accepted an offer to join Foley this afternoon, and spent most of the day scribbling thank-you notes and packing up my office (to be mailed to New York). It was a really, really fun summer.

And I don't want to go back to school.

And yet another reason I like Foley -- the managing partner offered to help my mentor and her then-boyfriend (also a Foley attorney) move in together. That would have made an awesome picture for the recruitment website.
