On rhinoplasty.
I have never understood why nose jobs were so popular. I'm currently getting free issues of Us Weekly -- my way of keeping in touch with the masses without having to actually listen to pop music -- and there's an "article" on Jennifer Aniston's alleged nose job, along with before-and-after photos of other celebrities that have gotten nose jobs. I can't tell the difference between nose job and no-nose job at all, even though I know that Ashlee Simpson's new one is supposed to be much better than her old one. It looks exactly the same. I don't get it.
Is it psychological? I have an Asian button nose, and it's never really bothered me. What possesses someone to pay to get a scalpel stuck up your nose for 4 hours and get bruised up for an unnoticeable result?
